Engine Hood Open

When the hood of a vehicle is not completely closed the engine hood light will display on the dashboard to let the driver know it is open. The presence of this warning symbol requires that the hood should be completely shut prior to driving the vehicle around Newark & Middletown or the surrounding New Castle County area.
